As a resident of Asheville, the last thing we need is another hotel. Keep this building community oriented with shops, galleries, and eateries!

Tired of good historical buildings being torn down to put up more stupid hotels. We need to keep Asheville as it was. That's what was bringing tourist to our city. Now that's going away because of the hotels the city council and mayor is letting come in to our city.

The decision to rehabilitate downtown Asheville so many years ago makes this city the beautiful destination that it is. Don't be part of the Corporate ideal by destroying a historic building and making it a $$ for them and displacing small businesses. Please don't.

This parking plan is not good. The City of Asheville should be ashamed if they even consider giving current city parking to this project!!! A new project should be able to have it's own parking and not wish for existing parking that is needed for customers that are not staying at a hotel downtown and for locals that like to shop downtown. Visitors stay at hotels to shop small businesses!

We have a great community here, there’s enough hotels here for tourists. Don’t change the Flat Iron building! Can’t get rid of one of the best places in Downtown Asheville that easily.

I've lived in Asheville for 29 years, I've worked in small businesses, I own a small business, and I've been an active part of the music industry the entire time working to raise up my community. This is beyond atrocious. Do better for your residents, Asheville.

Shame on the city council for approving this. Vote them out!

So many people start their private practices/small businesses in this space. It is a piece of historic Asheville that should be preserved.
