Please save this building. We have enough hotels in this city with a huge one being built. We dont need another. Plus all the people who loose there office is terrible for accrual people that make up asheville and pay there way. Toursit dont make the city what it is. The people that work in the flat iron do

How about affordable housing in this historic building? How much of our city are we going to give up to tourists an out of town investors?

No more hotels! Start thinking about the well being of those that live and work here who keep playing second fiddle to your tourist interests. Infrastructure is deralict, housing doesn't meet residents needs, yet you criminalze homelessness and continue to allow building of unwanted, unneeded businesses, knowing how limited space is as it is. Straighten your priorities, you work for us!

Let’s not let AVL become just another tourist town. Part of our charm is our historic building and small but unique businesses. With all the creative energy in our City, let’s do something more than just another hotel.

Downtown has MORE than enough hotels. Tourists AND locals visit downtown because we enjoy the local flair. We don't need to lose anymore small businesses or parking options.

30+ year Asheville resident is appalled by the influx of Hotels and the disenfranchisement of the lower working class due to City Council greed. What makes Asheville cool for tourists are the locals! Keep Asheville Local!

Asheville does not need another boutique hotel. It DOES need affordable business space. Do not sell us out again!

We don't need more hotels. We need decent jobs and affordable housing. This is nothing new. Don't make it worse with yet more tourism directed governing. Support residents with decent jobs and homes.

Losing 100 tenants, local small businesses? How is that a good thing? GREED is not good!

It would be devastating for all the local businesses that operate out of that building as well as terrible for the peace of locals. Stop catering to tourist and start appreciating your taxpayers!
