This petition is for Florida registered voters who found the wording or presentation of Amendment 2 on the ballot confusing and/or may think that it lead to an unintentional casting of either yes or no vote. Amendment Summary (http://www.votesmartflorida.org/mx/hm.aspid=nov08_Amendment2): This amendment protects marriage as the legal union of only one man and one woman as husband and wife and provides that no other legal union that is treated as marriage or the substantial equivalent thereof shall be valid or recognized. The use of the word unintentional means that the vote that was actually casted was the opposite of the intended casting, in this case due to confusion in the presentation of the amendment.
