I drive on Thornhill daily to get home, but it is also used by some business traffic and highly used for school drop offs. Please replace and shorten the repacking schedule to reflect the heavier use than a typical residential street.

Driving on thornhill is downright dangerous. Add kids walking to school and it is really a problematic.
Try biking it, and you could literally die. I have destroyed many inner tubes, as well as the rim. Very expensive to upkeep, and I hear I should submit the cost to the city, although I have not tried this yet.

Please repave Thornhill, it is in terrible condition with the rains and additional traffic since Snake is closed. It is getting unsafe as drivers are now swerving into oncoming traffic in order to avoid potholes and damage to their tires. Thank you.

It’s time for the Department of Transportation and the city of Oakland to take care of our major arteries. Thornhill is one of those well-traveled roads and the potholes have increased after all the rains.
I’ve seen other streets and Oakland repaved and it’s Thornhill’s time. We are not a Third World country and we shouldn’t look like one.

I have lived here 33 years and no repaving on Thornhill. Above the pool, the road is sunken from the piping replacement 35 yrs ago. The city is partly to blame for insisting on new sewer lateral that litter Thornhill with sinkhols

Thornhill poses significant potential liability to the city of Oakland, particularly for injuries to bicyclists. The injuries due to the potholes are completely foreseeable (I can attest to minor ones already, and narrowly averted major ones) and negligence clear. Spend the money for paving immediately before having to spend more in damages (to say nothing of damaged lives).

Please repave this pot-holed riddled road and, while you're at it, please paint a fresh line on the south side of the road to demarcate the "sidewalk".

Potholes throughout the hills are cause tire and suspension damage. Two repairs cost more than $500 this past year. The situation is getting worse. The three year plan is too little too late. We need repairs now so we can move about the area without fear of damage to our car.
