Fix the DSR/Ballista
Treyarch came out with a patch on 7/23/2013, it had other things in it, but the big thing was the DSR/Ballista. Community manager David Vonderhaar, said "The best performing sniper rifle and one of the best performing guns in the game got detuned because it climbed out of its power band." Stats on guns do mean things, but not on a sniper and here let me explain why. A DSR may be a one shot kill 90% of the time, but the fact of the matter is hitting the shot and being accurate with the sniper. There are very few people that can cause the DSR to become OP by accuracy. Stats on a sniper mean nothing, because it takes gun skill and accuracy to use it. Now on the other hand LMGs. In this class of weapons the stats do matter because it does not take much skill to equip a target finder and ADS with the most accurate gun in the game that is a 2-3 hit kill most of the time. Not to mention the clip holds almost 2x the amount of any other class of weapons in the game. My reasoning for this petition is not to hate or cause conflict with the Treyarch staff, it is just to show them how many actually liked the sniping and that sometimes just because a gun becomes statistically overpowered does not always mean it is overpowered. It depends on the person that is using that weapon is what determines if the gun is overpowered.
