I support this petition as the lane-way is too narrow for two-way traffic.

Council outlaid a lot of money on a TRAFFIC PLAN around 10 years ago which included making Porters Lane one way from the entrance to the council carpark down to Lynbara Ave.

Development in Porters Lane has meant a huge increase in motor traffic. It should be one way to alleviate the traffic.

This road is so busy for a residential road. It can take 5 minutes sometimes just to exit a driveway. I've had near misses backing out of driveways with cars speeding pass as I am reversing I now need to drive onto the front grass to turn my car around.

Street parking in Porters Lane during office hours is often impossible also on a Saturday. Parking itself poses a risk as cars drive so close to the parked cars that they can hit the side or mirrors. It actually happened to my car twice that is got damaged. The space that is left in the Lane is to narrow for two cars to safely drive through. Therefore there are constant issues with near mirror hits and cars stopping while others go too fast...

Porters lane is shocking and unable to handle the parking or traffic that passes through it

Go for it , well done. Council is a bit slack and should be more pro-active.
