The consequences of your bad decisions spirals out and affects multiple areas of the city. Stop with the high density and limited parking. You can't force us to give up our cars and ride bikes.

The problems are so true. Most two-person families work and need two cars, but parking is only being built for 1-1/2. Where do you park the other half.

It is impossible to live in Long Beach without a car. While the city has offered "night parking" for a fee in some of the lots, often times these hours do not coincide with everyone's working hours. Additionally, where do the cars go on the weekends? This is truly the worst place I have ever lived for parking. Worse than Manhattan and San Francisco. At least you can live in those cities without a car. It's a shame, because I love living here. Unfortunately visiting friends have no place to park and therefore local business go unfrequented.

Parking is ridicules, MDUs with 1 bedroom apartments with 3 cars in the street, walking blocks at night because parking is so scarce, condos impacting the parking for SFR owners. public parking writing tickets to residents and the only reason we have to park there is due to the multiple cars per apartment and condos. We may leave the area due to the inconvenience of the bad parking situation

I just moved to Long beach and am disgusted and worried over the lack of parking here for residents. We went out to the grocery store on Sunday- returned at 8pm and I kid you not, literally had to drive around multiple blocks for an hour and a half because there was absolutely no parking. Also saw other people driving around looking to. Its a HUGE stressor and makes me reconsider Long Beach.

This problem also hurts the trades-people who don't have accessible parking to perform repairs for tenants.

Parking had seriously played a serious role in my consideration to relocate elsewhere, sad but very true. I love Long Beach, especially downtown, but I'm not feeling the reciprocation when I have to look for parking for an hours after a 12 hour shift and parking tickets.

I am disabled and it is difficult to find a parking place where I live. I've become house bound so I don't lose a parking space.
