Broadway to two lanes and angled in parking would free up a ton of space and make it way easier to park.

Please do not become complacent about the parking situation here. We need our community and city leaders to think of creative ways to solve this problem. Changing the street sweeping times is moving in the right direction. Sweeping the issue under the rug, is not.

Please help with our parking in Alamitos Beach. I am tired of staying home since there is no where to park. I am amazed any businesses have stayed in business with this horrible parking situation

They ticket me even when I'm trying to unload my groceries into my front door. I have to get home early just to save a spot to have a guest. This is out of control.

20 years of feeling like a parking prisoner...my entire life has adjusted to and revolves around parking. Everything from changing my work hours to accommodate parking, when to make evening plans or have visitors..we even leave town around the busiest events to avoid the headache. I love LB and deserve better as a tax paying, money spending law abiding citizen!

I don't understand why residents can't have stickers from the city to park here and visitors/tourists have to search for parking. Parking is always a consideration when choosing to leave my apartment and drive somewhere and I have chosen to just not go places because I won't have a parking place when I return.

I see wasted parking spaces with small red curbs and even no red curbs. Tons of motorcycles parking places, which are empty. Why doesn't the city issue parking stickers for the residents? I was issued a ticket for parking in a red zone with handicap sign properly displayed and I got a $460 ticket!!!I I don't even make that in a week. I understand the red zone, but why is the ticket so high? Im recovering from foot surgery, which is not healing, due to the fact I have to park so far away. Not to even mention I could be assaulted walking 4-6 blocks to my apartment. Therefore, Alamtios Beach needs more handicap parking and parking spaces. Maybe all these issues should be presented to the local news. Such channels 2, 4, 5, 7, and 9 news stations . Maybe they can enlighten and educate Long Beach City how to deal with their parking problems. It doesn't take a genius to restructure the parking problem in Alamitos Beach. I think all the residents of Alamitos Beach could due a better job on reconstructing this parking nightmare. At least listen to all the input of the people whom live in Alamitos Beach

In the 20 plus years I have lived in Long Beach, the parking situation has just gotten worse. I live and work in LB and am proud to call it home, but I can't invite anyone over as no parking!

I am all for biking but almost all of us need ONE car. You must allow for this. Be fair. Treat every neighborhood as if you lived in it.

It is terribly sad to see great neighboors leave teh area because they cannot deal with the parking situaiton, while seeing all kinds of others move in (either they cannot have a drivers licence due to substance abuse or too many DUIs, etc) that do nothing to improve the area. New buildings create a higher impact, while residents with parking spots in their buildings still par on the street and take spaces for the ones where no parking is available.

We often plan our entire day around being able to find parking. It's the main thing we dislike about living here.

My quality of life has decreased dramatically since purchasing a condo in Alamitos Beach. I work in West LA and it isn't feasible to get home before sunset. I turn down all social invitations because it's crucial that I go home as soon as possible to drive around the neighborhood for 1-2 hours in search of a parking space and then walk home, as quickly as possible. alone and fearful in dark streets that are increasingly unsafe. What was once a home and neighborhood that I took pride in has now become a liability that I am anxiously looking for a way to get out of. This area has lost so many wonderful homeowners and families due to this unreasonable living situation. Please listen to us-the residents, tax payers and your constituents who deserve better.
