It is ridiculous that after a long day at work I have to spend so much time trying to find parking. And then have to worry about getting a ticket in the morning before I leave for work.

We need a more sustainable solution to parking for full-time residents. I know our city can do better!

I was thinking about going to a town hall meeting to express this issue. I would really like to see improvements to this headache of a situation. I hope the city of Long Beach understands that we are not parking in red zones and non parking spots just because. There is absolutely not enough parking spaces to accommodate the residents.Thank you

My apartment building has no parking. If I get home after 9:00pm or so I can spend 45 minutes trying to find a spot and it's usually up to 1/4 mile away and I have to move it by about 5:00am due to street sweeping!

Im paying $4000 dollars in rent , I don't have a job. I have just activated a live/work corner on PINE Ave downtown. But the real problem is just this. In front of my two units and only between 8 & 9 on Pine Ave is it two hour parking !!! So im.the only resident with a door to the street. But my neighbors whom are also live work lofts Courtyard lofts they OWN their space. But each condo has two driver's therefore one person from each of those dwellings musr also park on three the street. And that's it. That's all that there is , there are no other tedidents on the street that need to park outside. The corner condo Comey had underground parking and the complex across the street doors as well. And they both haves a direct elevator up to there units. So it's just me and the Courtyard drivers that Matt get out of their desks switch gears and rush out every two hours to move oir card from one side of the street to another. On the first two days I lived here that is how I was able top meet every single neighbor, starting at 10am we should all be on the street together moving our damn cars. I never had but 3 or 4 parking tickets in 9years now I have 30 !!

We HAVE to have 2 parking spaces legislation. 1-per doesn't cut it. Especially when in downtown and Alamitos Beach many units have 2+ people living in a unit ,,,and both drive!

We as a community urge the city council to take measures to review their parking situation here in Long Beach and look at other communities who had the same parking situations but have already taken measures to implement a plan that has or is in the process of succeeded!!! PLEASE!!!

Anyone who lives in Long Beach or frequents the area on a regular basis knows that there is not enough parking in Long Beach ! I think some of the parking restrictions need to be lifted for sure ! Something is very wrong on the block where I live because once 6 o'clock in the evening hits all the parking is taken up And what I can't figure out is by who ? I've lived here for several years now and I've been till approximately the last six months the parking was not an issue . One thing that I do think would help tremendously is to paint lines on the street for parking spaces . This would prevent people from parking right in the middle of two spaces so no one else can park in front or behind ! It drives me absolutely crazy !

I've never witnessed such horrible parking problems! Also shocking is that the City of LB seems so disinterested and far removed from offering solutions. It's so disheartening!

I want the downtown area to grow and improve, and would love these types of developments (The Current, etc); However, building them with a complete lack of parking under the lunatic notion that future renters/buyers won't require parking is beyond ignorant. As a home-owner here, I believe this policy needs to be attacked in any/every way possible.

HELP!! Quality of life revolves around parking in this area. Ocean and Alamitos. What will we do when the current building is full? Officials making decisions to approve mega buildings aren't considering parking impact.

City Council is driving Long Beach residents away, with its lack of consideration for our needs.
