I've seen countless people parking in our neighborhood just to sit in jury duty all day. There are also numerous people with multiple cars or business vehicles hogging up spaces. If you have access to underground parking under your apartment use it!!!!

Down on 627 west 3rd/4th street parking by the court house is terrible. I am sick of paying parking tickets because there is no where to park. 3 years now there is still no parking !

Not only is it time consuming looking for parking, but, think of the wasted gasoline and excess pollution being created. Any environmentally conscious city official should be ashamed.

The parking here can end a good day out with extreme frustration. Or it can cause you to be a homebody or spend money on Ubers to not have lose your spot just for an hour or two.for the insane price of $50, which I have paid the city several hundreds this year alone, you'd think you could afford to come up with a better system? Are two way roads really necessary when we're just driving in circles? No, they're not. They can become one way with one lane designated for parking diagonally. PLEASE DO SOMETHING!

I just moved into a beautiful studio on Ocean Blvd. The price is unreasonably low. I imagine one of the major contributing factors that keeps rent prices in the area reasonable while prices in the rest of Southern California soar, is the horrible parking in this entire area.

Parking is a serious issue especially for women who come home late at night and have to walk long distances alone. Safety issue!

This administration took more parking spaces than it provided. Not to mention it conducted pavement maintenance on street that really could have lasted longer than weekeer roads and alleyways! Now in the first district, (my district) their are more double parking taking place, than motor vehicles reserving spaces for their late night vehicle arrivals! The city, stated to grant/rent private business lot to the general public, and it NEVER happened. I, have taken it with my district Leader, (will not say her name) and was sent an intern secretary, and street investigator, to my location issue(s). He, affirm that white curbs that are never use, despite an adjacent available bus stop, was not going to be enforce do to building manager/owner. And that he could not grant more parking spaces in huge corner blocks; because, the RED curb measurements have not regulated since (50) plus years ago! I responded, "is not time to revise the rules to match astronomical overpopulated district?" He had no answer!

Does selling parking lots for high density living structures make sense? Where are all these people going to park?

I just moved to Long Beach, and while it's a beautiful city, it makes me have second thoughts moving here from San Diego because the parking situation especially where I live is so bad.

I'm fortunate enough to have a garage, but my tenants waste tons of time circling blocks looking for parking and walking with their children, bags, groceries etc. great distances after parking blocks away from home. Nearby monthly parking options are overbooked and have wait lists. While the city has worked to be very walkable and bikable (which is wonderful), the majority of LB residents work OUTSIDE of the city. Cars (and parking) are necessary for our citizens.

I am a Long Beach resident, and suffer daily due to the lack of parking provided to my community. Between the businesses and parking meters, it's almost impossible to find a decent park. Something needs to change immediately.

I have experienced, the hour plus search for parking, the predatory parking enforcement, etc. Worse, my daily actions are dictated by the parking situation; I forgo activities based solely upon if I want to lose my parking space or not.

I work a full-time plumbing job; by the time I get home in the evening, I have to search for parking, and leave my work vehicle far from home. Please Help!
