The Ninja Warrior mode was perfectly fine for the last (almost) year it's been available. Ever since this new update, the loadout has bugged out so badly, it's almost unplayable. I know so many Ninja Warrior regulars, myself included, who have stopped playing with this loadout due to the breakage. Here is a short list of bugs that need to be taken care of:
- It's a lot harder to grab the bow. It seems like your hand has to be perfectly on the grip to actually hold it. I know I sound petty, but it throws me off.
- It's a lot harder to put the arrows on the bow. I understand this is probably to prevent people from spamming arrows, but honestly, I'd rather play with the spammers than take 4 tries to get my arrow on the bow.
- What happened to the smoke bombs? I mean, they never really helped anyways, but half the time you use them now they just let out a little poof of smoke. And why do they bounce like 3 times before smoking?
- And my BIGGEST pet peeve of all, it's almost IMPOSSIBLE to shoot arrows off of the halo map jump pads. It used to be so much fun shooting people on the bridge at Narrows, but for some reason, I can't even get the arrow on the bow while I'm in the air. Half the time the bow magically drops from my hand while I'm in the air.
I hope others who agree with me can add their own opinions to this. I loved Ninja Warrior, but it's royally screwed up right now. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

There’s also the issue of just randomly dropping the bow and then not being able to pick it back up which I hope gets fixed. About a third of the time that I jump the bow just falls out of my hand and then I have to run around with a katana until I find someone else’s dropped bow and pick that up.
Would love to not have the bow fly out of my hand and not be able to retrieve it? Inconsistent quiver locations makes it hard to get arrows( sometimes)……….

I bought this game the day it came out. After two years of kicking ass in standard, BooM here’s Ninja. Just like standard it felt so natural and completely stopped playing any other mode. I have made some awesome friends with most of the top ranked ninja’s. One day boom update absolutely killed ninja. Not a little I mean wow it was horrible. So we all stopped playing. I don’t play any other game but contractors so I didn’t play anything. Checked back like a week later and it was definitely better but by maybe 40%. You absolutely ruined the only game I play. I haven’t played for a month. I checked in last night and still a very messed up ninja mode. Hope you fix it soon. Devs it’s like you just kicked me in my paranuts when I have been with contractors from day one SON…

Ditto! I feel in love with ninja mode over a year ago and played it daily and enjoyed being a regular member of the ninja community on Contractors. But after the experience update, I haven’t been interested in playing due the all the glitches such as missing arrow grabs that were spot on before, dropping the bow constantly and having it disappear, i’m also having a major issue with auto sprinting not working where my character is fast then sluggish. I just got new headset and new controllers and still no change in this behavior so I know its not worn controller related. Anything u can do to restore this unique mode back to its former glory would be so appreciated!!
