Maybe if IUP didn't do unnecessary construction, such as was done in front of the music building this past year (which really wasn't needed because it looked fine before), then the university wouldn't have to steal more money from their students.

Continue sending this petition to everyone you can. This is my first year being enrolled. If tuition is not fixed by the end of that year, I have to transfer. I can't afford this. One other thing you can do is email your concerns to IUP's President Driscoll at http://www.iup.edu/president/contact/. We have to be actively pushing for what we want and need.

Does IUP want enrollment to decrease. If so they are doing a great job. Stop trying to line your pocket and actually care about your students and their education IUP is a joke. If this continues and is put in to place I will be going to another college.

This change is very directly affecting the wallets of thousands of college students. It has long been the one benefit of being a full time student to be able to take more credits at a lower cost for years. This is an obvious attempt at one more opportunity to pad the pockets of this university. Appalling.

This is sad that IUP specifically said the payment change is to help with revenue gain. These are supposed to be non-profit organizations so why they need more money..

IUP should be rewarding those people who are taking a heavy course-load of 18 credits, not punishing them by making them pay for each credit.

It is already to expensive and difficult to get loans for our children in college especially when they are not financially eligible for any assistance. A raise in tuition is unreasonable

We are considering having our son transfer to a different university because of this. He is an excellent student and likes to take as many courses as possible. This new way of billing students only raises the cost of their educations.
