Thanks for the email, Dave. Not sure why I wasn't already aware of this: my niece features in the video (taking the last faceoff) and I've got three other family athletes at or recently graduated from PEA (two daughters and another niece). Unfortunately, none plays field hockey. At the very least, I'd like to hear the Academy's explanation. I've never heard of a dedicated field hockey pitch before...and clearly they're using it inappropriately, as the video demonstrates.

This is an opportunity to insure Exeter Athletes have access to the safest and best facilities and also fulfill the mission when this plan was originally put forth and financially supported by the Alumni

I would not have supported this project if it did not include a field for the lacrosse program. This is an inexpensive fix for the academy and should be done immediately to honor the agreement made with the donors for the field.

The promised multi-surface field will help keep PEA competitive and our student/athletes safe.
PEA - this is an easy one.

Please fix Mr. Hatch’s field. If he comes back from the dead, I feel sorry for any one responsible for not correcting such a grievous mistake. I suffered at his hands for far less and can assure you that you don’t want to go there!

Sure seems like the intelligent thing to do; multi-sport surface rather than single-sport. Let’s make it right PEA.

Certainly agree that support for the field was premised on its being a lacrosse field.
Should be fixed.
