Roundabouts are inherently dangerous. Instead, add three or four more traffic lights on 64 with left turn lanes at the lights.

Please no roundabouts!
Please no high density developments. Keep our small town.

I am appalled that NCDOT has proposed not 1 or 2 but 3 roundabouts for the Laurel Park section of US 64 at issue. If approved it will be a mess and not improve the situation at all.

This is just going to add even MORE cars to an already busy and dangerous road. It is not worth risking vehicle accidents and people's lives.

I may live in Etowah but I have to drive it back and forth. Roundabouts will not help the traffic flow, that will only help at the intersections. The three lanes need to be all the way to through to the end of Etowah, and at times to the county line (and beyond). They people that drive 64 all time time know what is best.

roundabout, while progressive, are not the best fit for this location and will do more damage to the community and small businesses that NCDOT intends to demolish for their project. Obviously, a little more "thoughtful" planning is required.

3 roundabouts in 6/10 of a mile is ludicrous. A turn lane will suffice and not destroy business and properties.

I am opposed to the Arcadia Views project. Homes and business locations being impacted.
Three roundabouts in 8/10 of a mile. Navigated by motorhomes! Insanity.

No development without proper preparation--widen Rt. 64, do a thorough impact study re density increase, affect on local schools and the environment!

The traffic congestion on 64 West is already a nightmare. A large development that empties traffic onto 64, no matter the changes to the road, will be unimaginably bad. Only a 4-lane road would make it liveable, and that is an impossibility!

Do not create a traffic hazard along 64 west, which already has had many accidents in the area of proposed development and the roundabouts are another traffic hazard and not needed on 64 west.

Please stop this development! Reaching town is difficult enough already!
