Roundabouts were a bad idea in the past and still are. We do not need a high density housing development either.

We live full time in Hendersonville, part time in Decatur, GA. We have round-abouts here. But, not three of them on a busy hightway within a mile of each other. Anyway, TWICE I have been behind someone at the round-about near Emory University who was unable to navigate the circle and witnessed them blow out a tire. So, get ready.

Roundabouts are an accident waiting to happen. Not needed in this small community. Road widening would be sufficient. We are the USA not Europe. If this becomes reality, I will not go near anything in the areas. Accidents happen because drivers do not pay attention to what they are doing not because road are the problem. Money wasted...could be spent by simply widening existing roads.

Round-a-bouts are confusing, especially to visitors, and demand far too much physical space which results in private property seizure.

Please do not put the RoundAbouts. They are confusing and I think would slow traffic. Looks like there is enough space on shopping center side to add a turn lane. Please do not mess up Dixie Diner's parking spaces. Also, noticed a small side road that needs to be handled. Maybe they can go out another way...even through the back of the mall.

Did we miss something? What exactly is the purpose of a roundabout? A couple more reasons why roundabouts are not feasible for this situation. They are confusing for most elderly drivers. Can you see semis, ambulances & fire engines navigating through them? A middle lane for left & right turns makes more sense in our humble opinion. Don and Carol Odegaard

I don't like the roundabouts and lane separating solid medians in the plans for US 64 West of Hendersonville, I prefer a three lane plan, with a third lane being an accessible center turn lane all the way through, minus I could see a small narrow section of median at major intersections. If necessary add an additional right turn lane at major intersections or entrances.

These changges have no clear basis in need and the rouindabout will impede the movement of trucks which can effect commerce in this city

Traffic on 64 West is bad enough without putting in Roundabouts, a third lane would be better forall. I oppose roundabouts being put in on US 64 West

Roundabouts only add to congestion and increased accidents. There is absolutely no need for them on 64W!
