This will destroy a historical area & toss people out of their homes without consideration of the people that live there.

These proposed changes would throw people out of their homes and ruin the rural design of the community.

The current NCDOT design proposal is totally unsatisfactory for a number of valid reasons. It will present a serious and unnecessary disruption to those families impacted, many of whom are senior citizens who have resided in their homes many years and are vehemently opposed to having their lives disturbed to continue making unnecessary accommodations for automobile traffic. This plan will ruin Hendersonville's character as a unique retirement venue, one many citizens have grown to appreciate. The "Powers that Be" would be WISE to heed the voices of it's citizens on this issue.

Traffic is backed up to Laurel Park shopping center at 0800 now. Imagine how much slower it will be with these stupid roundabouts.

Make it more eye appealing is not what we should be looking at. Does it help the flow of traffic. Not from what I can see on the map that is being proposed. It looks like upward Rd. Which has not solved anything. I see the same on this road happening.

Common sense for the common good! Government of, for and by the people! Listening to public voices and really hearing them is crucial. Officials are hired to listen and lead well not to have their own agendas that appear to condescend and charge on anyway. Weary and wary of their power assumptions at this point. Great work Glen- admire your strength of purpose , consistency of meaningful information and encouragement to citizens to create a swell of voices! I am OOC TILL the 6th but will make the 7th mtg. Thanks. Nancy

The north east has removed almost all of their roundabouts due to the fact that they found that they presented more problems than they fixed. Trucks struggle with them. Older people get service with them and traffic backs up. They just do not move traffic on a major state highway thoroughfare!

Adding a lengthy continuous turn lane through the problem areas (I don't see any problem areas but some do) would be much better and cheaper and would have much less of an impact on affected businesses, etc.

Don't need roundabouts -- they take up much to much property and businesses.

In favor of more ideas. In emergent situations, 3 or 4 roundabouts will be safe for the public or emergency personnel.

We FIRMLY oppose the Arcadia project that LP has proposed to negatively affect the quality of life for those of us who have invested our lives in unincorporated west Henderson county

We don't need any changes at taxpayers' expense.

Please spare us the greed of development. Leave us alone.

The taking of so much property for this project, the loss of taxpayer homes, seems unjustified.

Would like to see a traffic signal signal and left turn lane.

I would much prefer to see a center or turn lane for the entire length of the proposed project.
