Since his hiring as the head coach of the University of South Florida (USF) Football team, Skip Holtz has shown himself incapable of coaching consistently winning football teams. USF has gone from being a team that consistently reaches the college football postseason to a team that regularly loses games, often by close margins. In addition, Skip Holtz has failed to live up to his expectation to consistently contend and win Big East titles.
Keeping these facts in mind, we, the fans, students, alumni, and donors of the University of South Florida respectfully request the firing of Skip Holtz as USF head football coach and a complete reevaluation of the rest of the coaching staff of the USF football team.
Watching the team struggle on the field this weekend was painful for all of us who remember what this program used to be. I am using the momentum here to prepare a formal letter for the athletic department outlining why a change in leadership is the only way forward.

Seeing this level of frustration from fellow fans validates everything I have felt watching our team falter on the field. It is clear that I am not alone in wanting a future for USF football that actually reflects our potential instead of this decline.

Enough is enough. The program is going down the drain under his watch. Time for a change before the stadium is completely empty.

Fire him now. He has no clue what he is doing and the recruits are going to stop signing if we keep this up. PATHETIC.
