Since Brent Pease has been hired, the Gators have lost more offensive players to injury than any one of the previous years dating back to the Ron Zook years. It is also troubling that the Gators offense is allowing more sacks than any other team in the SEC. I am concerned because this is a severe downward trend since the Urban Meyer era that did run an up-tempo spread offense. Maybe there is a correlation there, and maybe not. Brent Pease came from a conference that he could afford to run the same seven or eight plays and get away with it. He has left our offense to be predictable and sluggish. With this, I am arguing that he should resign or be fired immediately. I don't have to tell you what you have already seen on film. I watch the games twice and see that Pease runs the same plays over and over. For instance, when I see number eight line up at quarterback, I know what is going to happen. When I see a jumbo heavy package hit the field, I know the guard is going to pull around to block for the running back. If I can see it on television or even in my seat in the Swamp, then I know the defense sees it on the field. I have a hard time believing that the Gators have resigned to running the same plays over and over again in hopes that it will wear down a defense. Pease has to have more in his bag of tricks, right? The Gator Nation has become accustomed to high tempo, creative, and driving offensive plays. Let's all be honest here, you have that type of team. It is just time to take the reigns off of the quarterback and let him make decisions. It is obvious that he is capable of making plays but, the coaching staff is not willing to let him do it. Pease is the problem here. It is his job to prepare the offense for what may come. It is his job to prepare the quarterback to make decisions. It is his job to call the plays that will win. We are seeing how that is working out. Brent Pease is there collecting a paycheck just like Charlie Weis did before him. It is time to find someone who will earn that paycheck. This is the worst Gator football we have seen since coach Muschamp's first year of coaching. The style of football Pease brought to Florida might have been good for Boise State, but not the Gators. He needs to learn to step on the gas, call some plays from the line of scrimmage, and get some fire under him to make the offense move. Coach Muschamp said that all of this falls squarely on the head coaches shoulders. I disagree. Brent Pease is the problem. Coach Muschamp brings fire and energy to the team. Brent Pease brings the cold water to put that fire out. It is time to fire up Brent Pease or just simply fire him. As a fan, I beg you to please make the right call and get the Gators a new offensive coordinator.

Howdy! I could have sworn I've been to this website before but after checking through some of the post I realized it's new to me. Nonetheless, I'm definitely happy I found it and I'll be bookmarking and checking back frequently! Worst play calling I have seen in twenty years of being a season ticket holder. Just go.

Pease is clueless. We deserve way better than this garbage product on the field.

Seriously hire someone who actually knows how to call a play that isn't a run up the middle on 3rd down. GO GATORS!

This offense is painful to watch. Get him out of Gainesville before he ruins another season.
