I am penning this petition to call for NBC Sports to fire NHL analyst Mike Milbury. As an on-air personality, it is my belief that Milbury does not hold up to the standard of integrity and professionalism that I believe an analyst for a highly refutable broadcast company like NBC should hold. Throughout his nine seasons of broadcasting with NBC Sports, Milbury has demonstrated that he is someone who is incapable of being un-biased towards the players and organizations that he favors. This has been clearly evident on multiple instances over the past two seasons, primarily during the 2016 All-Star game weekend where he attacked fans for their support of John Scott as well as during the 2017 NHL Playoffs with his comments about PK Subban of the Nashville Predators. It is due to these incidents that I am calling for the NBC Sports Network to relieve Mike Milbury of his duties as a hockey television analyst

I honestly cannot believe how fast the momentum is growing right now because it really shows how many people are fed up with these constant unprofessional comments. It is kind of wild to see so many people feeling the exact same way I did when I first typed this up while sitting at my desk out of pure frustration.

Mike's continuing negative comments regarding PK Subban are outside the realm of acceptable sports journalism or color commentary. His advocacy of Crosby's repeated blows to Subban's head are contradictory to the NHL's commitment to player safety. He should be removed from his position at NHL on NBC.
Mike Milbury provides no value in hockey analysis. His views are antiquated and borderline barbaric. If you truly want to grow the sport, give his spot on the broadcast to someone who does not advocate violence for the sake of violence. Hockey has come a long way since the 1970s.
Mike's comments on PK Subban were way over the line. A man who donates 10 million dollars to a children's hospital definitely does not deserve to get his head repeatedly slammed into the ice. The NHL needs to find an analyst who can stay objective and fair.
Mike Milbury is the most unprofessional announcer I've heard in my 56 years of living. I cannot believe that the NHL and NBC continue to allow him to speak on their behalf. His bias and comments regarding PK Subban in particular warrant his dismissal.
The comments he made not only were they extremely sickening, he smiled while watching the replay of Subban get his head hit into the ice. He has demonstrated time and time again he has absolutely no class.

The man is an embarrassment to a sport trying to gain traction in the United States. Now is the time to fire him instead of allowing him to further divide and alienate a growing fan base
