Marcus Smith the Fitness Mgr at Golds Gym in Wichita Falls TX. has had numerous accounts of issuing threats and aggressively confronting members of the gym. He has brought gang affiliation into the equation stating things such as "come on blood". Fitness MGR Smith has been witnessed by multiple current and former employees of Golds Gym Wichita Falls of drug use on and off the clock. Numerous complaints have been issued to Golds Gym INC with no results. One particular recent confrontation happened Wednesday 4/4/2018 at 6:30 pm where he attempted to get physical with 2 current paying members. He was seen throwing his hands in the air and screaming at the top of his lungs for the member to "do something". Below is taken directly out of the Golds Gym INC employee handbook
"Threats, threatening conduct, or any other acts of aggression or violence in the workplace will not be tolerated. Any Team Member determined to have committed such acts will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination. NonTeam Members engaged in violent acts on the employer's premises will be reported to the proper authorities and fully prosecuted. Any questions regarding workplace violence should be directed to the immediate supervisor or the Human Resources Department." (p29 Paragraph 1)
"Gold’s Gym goal is to provide a drug free and safe workplace. Gold’s Gym does not tolerate any Team Member impaired or under the influence of, using, possessing, distributing, or selling alcohol and/or any illegal or prescription drug on company property or on company time. Anyone violating this policy will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including immediate termination of employment." (p24 Paragraph 1)

I was looking into a trainer and he was extremely rude to me when i inquired. I ended up not even joining because of him
I really hope golds gym does something about this guy. I have seen him walk around hitting on every girl breathing, being rude to anyone built better than him and making fun of other members. I know what weed smells like and he REEKS of it at times. how this man is employed is beyond me.
I once saw him making fun of someone working out calling them "fat white people" It was sad to see staff behave that way
He came up to me yelling. And I thought he was going to assault me. I ended my membership because of him
I’m finally glad someone said something I worked with Marcus for a short time and it was unbearable some of the things that came out of his mouth. He is very racist! I witnessed first hand him making fun of people!! I mean for gods sake he is suppose to be someone that people look up to and go to for advice. I feel sorry for his clients and his co workers

I have seen this guy smoke green out of a vape pen inside the gym alot!

Everything in this petition is true. Clayton didn’t need to fabricate anything because the evidence is so overwhelming. I used to workout there but got the feeling that MGR Marcus and MGR Shay were racist. I overheard both of them yelling “Wakanda” and laughing about hiring more “color” after they had just hired 3 new African Americans. After I heard that I was done.
