There is a Lot wrong in this video, this officer never once checked on this girl, to see if she had a pulse. he withholds information that he fired his weapon, what officer doesn't realize His gun fired!! I'm pretty sure he was not wearing ear plugs, and only shows he cannot be trusted to protect this town....

OK, lets just say for the sake of argument that it was an "accidental discharge" (ludicrous, BTW - watch the video), WHY did the officer put his gun away after the "suspect" fell back into the SUV and approach the vehicle when he was no longer armed ! WHY are we not questioning the integrity of officer training? If it's part of his duty to bear arms, pretty sure he should know when he shoots. He said he reported that he had a kid refusing to get out after he shot him because he didn't know his gun had discharged and therefore didn't believe the "suspect" when he said he was shot. According to another report the officer thought the "suspect" was trying to escape. ...but all you have to do is watch the video and you'll see it sure looks like a criminal act.

The citizens of Paradise would like an outside agency to look into this. We need the DOJ to step up and step in to investigate the PD and Ramsey. Ramsey can't be trusted. He and his family members have broken laws with no recourse in the past few years. Of course he is going to cover up for law enforcement. This officer shows what we here in Paradise have to deal with for law enforcement.Most of these officers have attitudes that the laws don't apply to them and they do what they want. This guy had no regard for the woman laying on the pavement. He didn't even give proper codes to dispatch.. If he had the ambulance which is stationed about 2 blocks from the scene would have been there before the other officers. He was to concerned to find his shell casings so that he could continue his lie about shooting an unarmed person. He didn't even go near Darien, and she should have been his priority. He has no place being an officer anywhere.

Accidental or not they are trained to handle weapons so therefore by taking on a serious job that gives you a gun you should be held responsible for any accidents you cause. As far as I'm concerned there are no accidents that happens under a badge. I have concealed for 10 yrs an not once have I accidentally discharged any of my firearms. This happens to frequently my mom was almost shot last week when Butte County sheriff officer Denean accidentally discharged his weapon while kicking down the door on a traffic warrant.

Andrew deserves justice. This officer was obviously not looking out for the wellbeing of the crash victims what so ever. He also lied to everyone when he didn't report that he had shot Andrew in the neck. Very unprofessional and not trustworthy. Would like to see this man off the force as he is very unreliable and untrustworthy!!

i dont feel my tax dollars are being properly represented by this so called officer. I have seen zero evidence that this man is here to protect anyone with his dui campaign! Obviously this man can not handle his issued sidearm as well as maintaining protocols in place in which he must follow. I could only be satisfied with his immediate resignation if manslaughter charges are not being pressed.
