We do not need someone like this PROTECTING us. I feel ashamed that he would be kept on the force. Please consider yourself a part of that kid's family. You wouldn't want someone such as that officer out there making a similar mistake.

This is so sad and not in any way justifiable. The guy shouldn't have been drinking and driving but the cop just immediately shot him! Guess thats the motto nowadays, Shoot forst and ask questions later...

This was wrong driving drinking but officer shot him for no reason and I feel now that he will never walk don't you think he should have house arrest so his family can give him the help he needs the police dropped the ball . I very upset prayers for both family's . He has paid for his crime he will no longer walk what good is putting a man that has no way of walking .

He needs to be charged with attempted murder, improper use of a weapon, impeding the investigation, and criminal negligence. Ramsay needs to be charged as the criminal he is too.

The dashcam video shows intent. He does not look shocked nor does he tell fellow police that he shot the man until 11 minutes later. If I shoot someone on accident I go to jail. Police should be held to a higher standard than civilians not a lower one.
