It so blatantly shows this cop taking his revolver out & just shooting this man without even warning the gentleman. He took it upon himself to kill the guy without any warning. After all, the guy was trying to get out of the car. Then for the coward to immediately start looking for the spent cartridges showed he knew he was guilty of murder. Then to top it off not to call anyone for 11 minutes was a cowardly thing to do. The wife just might have survived. This man has no conscience. He is a killer. Get him off the force. I have no idea if their are any children involved but if so it is a shame.

This man posed no threat to the officer and was in fact just trying to get out of a turned over vehicle. The officer immediately (3 seconds), took out his gun, aimed and fired at this man, who then fell back into the vehicle. He then immediately told the police dept via radio that the man was refusing to get out of the vehicle. The officer then searched continually for something on the ground. He did not check on the woman on the ground nor did he ever check on the man he shot. When other police officers showed up, they did not check the woman on the ground, either. They did not go to the vehicle and see where this so called man was who was supposedly 'refusing to get out of the car'. Why did the other policemen seem totally unworried about either casualty? Don't the police know CPR? Why did they just walk around the accident site, leaving a woman who was 'unresponsive' to lay there and die and a man who was supposedly refusing to get out of the vehicle? What was so important to find on the ground that the officer in question did nothing but look around for something the entire time? Don't police take weapons training? Aren't they suppose to be experienced in these types of situations? How did the officer in question not know his gun had fired? I do not feel safe AT ALL knowing that the Paradise Police Station may someday send out this so called officer to my home in an emergency situation. He is obviously in the wrong field, he cannot handle the pressure and he doesn't know how to handle his weapon. Let alone the aspect of morality and being more worried about finding 'something' on the ground than saving two lives that he's been sworn to protect. Fire Him Now.

It's saddening that not only can a police officer take ones life while following protocol but also while blatantly not following any type of proper protocol whatsoever. This young man, though I do not know him, will have to live the rest of his life crippled because of this officers miss actions. In my opinion these officers need more training in these situations. They have many other means to take somebody down, who is either running from or at them, than pulling a fire arm and potentially ending ones life. Paradise police prove to be cowards in these situations time and time again and something needs to be done so they may be held accountable for wrong doing. These officers took oaths to protect and serve. What I see is the complete opposite....

I saw them at the cantina that night.the fact that this cop who is supposed to be protecting out city doesn't even look at darien or try to see if she is alive. All he is worried about is covering up his wrongful shooting.. what a shame

should have called out shots fired, Should have administered CPR, Should have admitted he shot the kid, should NOT have said the subject refused to exit the vehicle, This is as dishonest as it gets. FIRE FEASTER! I do not feel safe as a local taxpayer having him as a Paradise Police Officer.

He tried hiding what he did, and there was no reason for this officer to have pulled his gun in this type of situation. I also feel the District Attorney in this case should also loose his job for his actions as well. Butte country should be investigated bu Internal affairs.
