This was obviously intentional and there was clearly an attempt to cover up or ignore the fact that there was even shots fired. This is lazy on all ends. From the police officer to the DA. This joke of a man, known as a police officer, needs to be removed from his job so he doesn't "accidentally" shoot anyone else.

Even if his firearm discharged on accident anyone who holds a gun will know if it went off or not and he should've said something right away!!!! This is wrong!

Omg , under the CA law you can only use force equal to force used against you. We should change all the procedure the law
Enforce the can use. No more pointing guns at unarmed individuals
spend more money on tracking dog and run the guy down and take him if he was even trying to run away. When goverment can make there oun law to use on the people and the people can't change them in one day we live in a teranical county. We need to stick together and rise up to these jokers

Direct murder - there was no threat to the officer at the time. No visible weapon, and the man was simply pushing himself out of the car wreck. Then the cop proceeds to not mention the shooting and state the suspect is unwilling to get out of the vehicle? No cop should be this incompetent and quick to try and kill a human being. Unacceptable.
