I was born and raised in Paradise, and was taught to fight injustice where I saw it in any form. This will not stand in our town.

This man needs to be investigated from the outside and then tried in an unbiased court room.

First time signing a petition but I am completely disgusted after watching the video that this officer was more worried about finding his shell than helping the victims. He never even told his colleagues that he fired his weapon until the gunshot wound was found by EMS! He absolutely was trying to quickly figure out a cover up. PPD needs to be staffed with top notch officers that this small town can trust!

This man should be in prison.

Was I surprised by the outcome of Ramsey's "investigation". No. It's par for the course for him. Of course, the driver should be held accountable if he was driving drunk and contributed to his wife's death. No argument there, but by the same token, so should the cop who, by the looks of the video, knew full well what he was doing. He should be fired, criminally charged and also held acountable.

I would think this man is an embarrassment to to all worthy policemen. He doesn't deserve the titles "peace officer" or "public servant"!!! As a taxpayer and long time resident of Paradise, this is not the type of protection I care to pay for! When did we become a third world country that has to fear the "law" as much as we fear the criminal? This incident happened practically at the steps of PPD. The the Fire station is right next door and an EMT station right up the street, yet no help was called for the initial victim till minutes later. I am horrified of the thought that ANY of the officers in this video come to aid of ANY of my loved ones!!!!!!

It's so wrong,just seeing how it all happened. And Mike Ramsey's so called explanation,is appalling.

This police officer in no way followed the training that was given to him and is a disgraced to the police force

We don't need peace officers like this guy.

The police officer needs to be held accountable for his actions.

if you're calling that an accident, I am scared for anyone who lives around this cop.

The officer should have been fired and brought up on charges. We shouldn't have had to go as far as signing petitions when there's a video showing clear intent to cause harm with no justification.

Deadly force should always be last option if you are a cop... You mean to tell me that was the only option that came to his brain?

Unbelievable display of ignorance and no remorse. Disgusting! Feaster should be fired and put before a jury.

Isosceles stance, ten-fifteen feet from suspect, suspect unarmed, suspect facing away from officer, officer raises weapon to eye level (lining the sights on the suspect), suspect is shot by officer in proper shooting stance with proper two-handed grip and proper sight alignment on target. Suspect, now victim, drops like a stone after one shot and officer calls in an uncooperative suspect (he was and is paralyzed). Further, the officer made no attempt to check on the female victim. Instead he chose to look for his brass casing. This was not negligence, it was not an accident. This was a trigger happy, badge heavy officer whom shot an unarmed suspect. These kind of officers do more harm than good and should not only be removed from the force, but should also spend time in prison and NEVER be allowed to own a gun again!

The video clearly shows that this was no accident... Just the way the officer drew is gun and fired 2 or so shot and then put the gun back in his holster... It's a very disturbing video.. I feel that this officer should loose his badge and put behind bars... If this was a civilian he/she would have been charged with murder and in prison.

Feaster must be fired. The DA must be removed from office and replaced with someone who will refuse to cover up crimes.
