This is what Steve Heimoff believes---
"Sick! This sicko bigot stalked Treyvan, shot him to death for walking home, and now he says it was "God's plan" for Treyvan to die at his hand. This is an extraordinary confession by the tea party, evangelical hate wing of the republican party that wishes they could kill anyone they think is a threat. Including me and maybe you."
Wine is the great uniter. No matter your race, sex, orientation, religion, politics or belief system, all people can come to the same table and enjoy a bottle of wine.
Steve Heimoff, California Editor for Wine Enthusiast Magazine is responsible for sharing with the public the very best of California Wine.
Instead, Mr. Heimoff has made it his personal mission to be a divider. His bigoted, hate-filled rants against people with certain beliefs have no place in the wine world.
As lovers and members of the California wine industry, do we want him and his hate to be associated with what we love.
This petition shall call upon Wine Enthusiast Magazine to fire Steve Heimoff from his current position, as there is no room for him in a culture that tries to bring all walks of life to the same table.
If you are in the wine industry, please do not be afraid to speak up. You can stay anonymous so you shall not fear any future bad scores or reviews from this small minded person, Mr. Steve Heimoff.
