A person regardless of age, race, religion, or sex who publicly makes racially charged or biased comments has no place as a professor of higher education and should be terminated. Furthermore to use profanity towards another person on social media is unbecoming of a person in Miss Grundy's position.

I'm shocked I even need to sign this petition. I believe in free speech whole heartily but there has to be regulations of what should and should not be said by a person in power, more so an educator. Especially when it comes to a topic as uneasy as race in America. She must be held accountable for literally breeding racism. She is an African American professor and should be upset in what happened over the construction of the United States but there are better ways to express and teach. It seems like her blasts on social media was nothing more than bashing white people and making her friends laugh. Understanding is everything. America has to stay United not just with their States but with their People. Racism only divides.

Racism like this cannot be tolerated at BU. I would not send my child to BU if he/she wanted to major in sociology to be educated by a blatant racist. Fire her now.

The fact that Grundy is still employed shows that black professors are held to a lesser standard of conduct. If she was white she'd already be looking for new employment. Boycott Boston University until they treat everyone equally!
