Dear Amazon: We, the fans of The Grand Tour, would like to request the immediate removal and replacement of Mike "The American" Skinner as the racing driver from The Grand Tour. We find him offensive and representative of the worst kind of American stereotype. Please remove him and replace him with a real racing driver -- perhaps someone from the world of F1, who has both talent and intelligence. This is a great show, and you are cheapening it with his continued presence. Thank you.

I really never thought this would gain this much steam but here we are and honestly it feels like people are finally seeing exactly what I meant about the tone being off. My phone keeps buzzing with notifications and I have to say reading through the comments makes me realize I am definitely not the only one feeling this frustrated about the direction things took.

Please replace Mike Skinner on The Grand Tour. If the intent is to make American Racing drivers look ignorant, Mr. Skinner succeeds. He embarrasses viewers and makes me wish the Stig followed along with the boys. Thank you.
Dear Amazon: like so many other HUGE fans of the former Top Gear show and the New Grand Tour series, I absolutely hate the role Mike Skinner play as the rude, talentless and stupid American. When that segment comes on, we mute the TV. The show is excellent, please do not ruin it with this horrible segment.
He's the worst part of the entire show. Even as an American myself, I hate every time I have to see his stupid face and hear his stupid comments when they're testing all these amazing cars. Get rid of him.
Would be nice to have someone who can provide real feedback on the vehicles' handling dynamics on the track and also has some racer credibility.
They need a driver with a passion for cars, not someone who slags off everything just because it doesn't have 8 cylinders and isn't a muscle car. Get shot of him.
Agreed. Have to fast forward the lap because hes so terrible.

Get rid off the American, he lacks chemistry with the rest of the show, he isn't funny at all. Bring some one else to replace him.
