With power outages from the pre-Christmas ice storm in Lansing lasting over week, leaving thousands with no power, it is obvious that Lansing Board f Water of Light CEO Peter Lark was not prepared to deal with this type of emergency.

Someone needs to be held accountable for the incompetence in the handling of this emergency and the buck should stop at the top: Peter Lark. Does the person responsible for the bungling of this situation deserve a six figure salary while thousands of families were left out in the cold for Christmas?

Fire Peter Lark and bring some COMPETENT management to the Lansing Board of Water & Light!

Mr Lark should be held accountable. As leader of the BWL the burden falls on him for the BWL to be prepared adequately for emergencies. They failed the citizens of Lansing miserably. I demand he be fired?

When is enough, enough???? If I ha functioned in this fashion while working for the city of Lansing, I would have been canned immediately... union or no union... We pay this man way too much money to accept this level of incompetence.... WE have to become THE priority.. Not being the city with the biggest, newest, NON

Seems like Mr Lark has been lying to us from the outset. Not understanding the scope of work required is the first requirement. Not having a corrective action plan was their 2nd major mistake. Yes, some one should be held accountable

Mr. Lark had 7+ YEARS to fix EVERYTHING that went wrong BEFORE, DURING & AFTER the 2013 ice storm, INSTEAD, he WENT ON VACATION.

This man is much too highly paid to be this incompetent. We not only need to remove him but the entire Board of Commissioners which is "appointed" by the Mayor.Te BWL NEEDS to be put back under the control of the City residents AND they need to resume their original business model to keep OUR costs low..not to find a way to pay themselves MORE money

Whe is enough, enough??? We pay this man way too much money to run this utility this irresponibly. J. Peter, Bernero, and the RUBBER STAMPING board of commissioners should all be held FULLY accountable for the fiasco of 2013.... If I had performed my job at the city of Lansing this poorly, I would have been fired immediately... union or no union. Our bills keep going up and the service level keeps deteriorating.. and everyoone seems to accept the bs excuses we're given.... I am personally tired of excuses and want wsome acton.... AM I ALONE??????????
