Being as highly paid as he is requires results, something JT3 cannot deliver.

JT3 has been coach 12 yrs. hes had ups and downs and, lately, - last 5 years - in particular - far more downs. its not just this season. We should expect far better results and cant settle for mediocrity. that's the business GU hoops is in now. Good guy or not doesn't matter. Results do

We are now at the same point as we were with Craig Esherick and have to make the same decision as then.
3 had a great run but simply has lost touch the last few years and is too stubborn, and probably too incompetent, to turn things around.
If we do not make a change, our recruiting will continually to slide and then a turnaround will take even longer than it will if we make a change this summer.

I want to be loyal to JTIII. I want him to be successful. We can't risk being DePaul or St Johns year after year just because the Thompsons are royalty. Sorry coach.
