The damage being done to our children by keeping them out of school and away from interaction with peers and their teachers is far greater than any risk of contracting covid.

Dr. chen should not be in a position to make decisions for our children. His decision is clearly not following the recommendations of CDC & the Board as well as the many families effected by his decision. He needs to be replaced!!

Open our schools. You are dumbing down our children and removing their social interaction which is essential for their development

As a parent in Pierce County, I should have the final say on whether my children are in school or not. Exactly why my kids are not in public school!

My grandchildren are being discriminated against not being able to go to their private school. They can open safely.

There is absolutely no reason small private schools can not reopen. This is an equity issue that is hurting my children. Private schools can lead the way for all our schools to reopen.

I am sickened how this has been handled with the schools. It is so political. How about putting our kids first, why are they being punished.

Children and schools are essential. The choice to open safely should be left up to the school and parents. Quit discriminating against private schools to politicize an agenda.
