After trading Dougie Hamilton for a laughable return, Lucic for less than his value, selecting 3 very underwhelming players at the entry draft, and trading a 3rd rounder for Zac Rinaldo, Don Sweeney has proven he is either intentionally ruining this team, or is severely incompetent as a general manager at the NHL level. He must be removed immediately before this team suffers any more, and to prevent the suffering of fans as much as possible during his hopefully short-lived tenure.

I've been a Bruins' fan since 1969, seen a lot of great hockey but this current situation is unacceptable. How did we go from the team no one wants to play to the team no one wants to watch in 2 years?
From his drafting to coddling the players. Sweeney needs to go. But Cam will never get rid of his buddy.
Monty said he learned from last year that he would alternate goalies. He didn't and the team lost. Sweeney's off season and trade deadline picks included washed up duds.
Neely is the one truly to blame, but Sweeney should also go. This marks the 4th or 5th year of terrible trades, and the loss of pivotal talent. FIRE NEELY!!!
Its gonna take us years to recovery for the mess they made in 2 weeks. Please let someone competent take over
The embarrassment of a human being that Don Sweeney is can not be defined in human words. Everybody else has gone, and it is time to stop playing the usual victim card, and face the consequences of his actions. For Sweeney, I hope and pray that you get nightmares about trading Brad Marchand and your amazing draft picks.

Look, they’ve been both really great for the bruins, but they have to go, their time is showing and they’ve clearly overstayed their welcome. I love Cam Neely, he’s one of my favorite hockey players of all time, but him and Sweeney clearly have a stranglehold on this organization that needs to be addressed and replaced…
