There are 34 fires burning in CA right now. More than 3.7 million acres have burned across the state, which is a record in recorded history. That record-setting number is also more than five times the five-year average. Do we really want to add to that number because a few elected officials refuse to listen to their constituency?? PLEASE sign the petition!!

This is an absolute must for CA. Most of these fires could have been brought down so much easier if it wasn't for all of the brush build up. The dead trees should also be removed....more fire fuel !!

Right now the law is 100' brush clearance from structures. We definitely need more!!! Thanks fir helping. Spread the word

Yes, fire is a part of life here, but we need to make up for the decades of fire suppression - controlled burns are always better than uncontrolled ones!
