The existence of highly flammable brush during brush fire season is a clear and present danger to the health and safety of residents living adjacent to COSCA managed open space. The current regulatory structure fails to provide an adequate safety distance from fire fuel and the homes in our neighborhood which should be at least 200 linear feet of cleared brush like Lake Sherwood and City of Los Angeles Fire Department. Time is of the Essence.
