Longobardi has been the most influential lecturer I was exposed to during my bachelor’s degree at the University of Puerto Rico. Her finance course was fundamental in preparing me to develop financial research for the Commissioner of Financial Institutions of Puerto Rico, work directly with top executives in the financial industry at Banco Popular of Puerto Rico, and now serve in the Office of Mayor Rahm Emanuel in the city of Chicago. Beyond the content of the class, the method used by Longobardi to deliver her lectures truly surpassed the standard quality of other faculty members I encountered at the University of Puerto Rico.
