It is still very risk & waste of money to keep paying for each pcr test. I am living in Fujairah with my mothers side of the family taking care of my grandmother.

I am outside the UAE and cannot travel as my country is under a travel ban and banned flights from and to the UAE.

I feel like it would be a much added stress since we have been doing the whole semester online and suddenly we will be forced to go on campus for finals and in addition to that most student will be fasting

Do you think the people who will come for the exams won’t go to their friends or maybe even a party or something then come do the exam? Some also like me would be forced to come by metro where we will sit next to many people who sit with many others in work or whatever. This is very risky we do not leave the house because we are scared for my grandparents living with us but now we are forced to go out for a metro ride and then to uni then back to a metro ride then take a taxi and come home. No one should do this while on a pandemic why is AUD the only uni being so strict especially in the holy month of ramadan

It’s not the fact that students are complaining because they do not want to do exams on campus because eventually we are going to have to return to campus. However , the vaccine has recently been introduced that not many people are comfortable with taking; moreover, the vaccine is known to decrease a person’s immune system by 70% which is much more risky to return to campus for an exam. Students will not feel comfortable to do exams on campus while the whole semester we had been learning online. In fact, it is quite unfair that we are asked to return to campus for the sake of an exam. If we were to do exams on campus, the semester should be on campus too not just exams being on campus while content being learned is online. Also, some countries do not have flights and are still on lockdown , so it would not make sense to make exams on campus. It is agreed these times have been hard for everyone and corona has not been the best to us , but I believe we should stay fair and United during these difficult times.

I wouldn’t feel safe or want to attend physically in order to take an exam. Also I don’t find it logical or fair since we have been taking all our classes and other exams online throughout the year. It’s not half yes half no, or when you feel like it or no. The classes which are the most important, we are forced to take them online, literally what we need to be taking physically we are taking it online. but the exam is requiered to be on campus now ? Not logical or fair, plus very risky and my family or me myself wouldn’t allow myself to attend even if it was for an exam.

I live with people who are elderly with compromised health and are at high risk to COVID. I don't want to risk sitting in a classroom with 25 other students who could potentially be infected after their PCR test and having my family suffer the consequences..

Even if we did have to take a PCR test to attend, you can have the virus for up to 72 hours before symptoms start showing and the PCR may yield a negative result, even if the person is infected.
It makes no sense to make us attend and sit in classrooms with students who live with those who are considered high risk.
This is unbelievably irresponsible.
