I think it would be much safer to take final exams at home, the virus is just spreading continuously, and I do not think it is a good idea to have exams on campus.

Not all AUD students are in the UAE or in Dubai, not all students are vaccinated, not all students can afford to do PCR tests.

Can the ministry please reconsider, so many of us are outside the country and coming just for an exam is so dumb, there are also hundreds of students that only have one exam so imagine going to campus and risking getting sick just for one exam?!
If we still arent listened to after this then the professors should just cancel the final exam and balance our grade by replacing the exam with a test, same percentage of the grade but at home:)

It’s too much asking for PCR test and on campus exams while the exams are taken on electric format even in both cases !

We get it the uni is trying to show they are “strict” but I really don’t think forcing students to go outside is a good idea. Not for us nor for the uni. Iike many others don’t have a car so if i was forced to come to uni I’d have to come by metro where i will sit with many other people and then go to uni where i will also see many people and lastly come home to my home where my grandparents live with us. Seriously this is not a good idea. Lockdown browser and it’s camera and 2 teachers monitoring us on zoom isn’t strict enough for you? Most unis don’t even do all this monitoring.

My mother is pregnant and no one leaves the house, not even my father. And now the uni is forcing us to come over?!?! We have been protecting ourselves for nothing

I definitely agree. I don’t understand why they suddenly want us to go on campus when the infection rates are Already increasing everyday recently. In contrast, they should give students the option to choose wether they want to go on campus or not, some people don’t want to risk being infected.
