Please dont ban fun on the beaches. There is nothing worse then going to the beach and hearing the whistle blow because your children are having fun playing and enjoying themselves. It is a reason I will not go to RI beaches, no balls, no games, no floats, no music and most of all NO FUN in the sun! If anything, have a couple beaches or areas of the beach where there are rules against music, balls, floats and fun. It's not fair to the many many many children and families who love to visit our beaches. We all as residents of the town deserve to share the beautiful ocean and beaches. If some prefer silence and just the ocean then they should have places where that is avaible. But that doesnt mean take all the beaches for them. There is plenty of room for everyone! We prove that year after year with the summertime rush of tourists!

People go to the beaches to play and have fun and listen to music and relax maybe there should be certain sections of beaches for each activity or certain beaches for each activity but not one beach should be banned of all activities such a ridiculous world we live in when a select few can make the choices for so many. Every Falmouth resident should receive something in the mail to vote on this matter

The public beaches are also for enjoying everything they want to put an end too.

The beach is a PUBLIC PLACE! If you don't like frisbee throwing or kite flying you should probably go find a comfy rubber room. The proposed provisions are a JOKE and a slap in the face to residents!!!!!!!

Beaches are supposed to be recreation areas. Don't take away the fun. My age is 64.

Precinct 9 I am opposed to the FHMNA's petition. I strongly disagree with many points of this petition.

The Town beaches are for public enjoyment, not association control. Move to a gated community with your association and you can do what you want!

What a ridiculous petition. The heights took away the casino, live music and now this?

As a guest student at WHOI this summer, I really enjoyed the beaches at Falmouth. My jaw nearly dropped when I read the stipulations associated with the proposed bylaw. I hope we can keep in mind the amount of private shoreline that already exists in the area, and remember that public spaces are meant for everybody - not just those who prefer quiet and uninterrupted views. I fear that passing this bylaw sends a message, especially to children and young people, that public beaches are not, in fact, for everybody. Besides, can't we all agree that preventing melonoma takes precedent over people who find tents to be annoying?

I am a year round resident and actively vote. I do not agree with the article being submitted and feel as though no one has any right to tell anyone else how they can and can not enjoy their time at a public/town managed place, especially in a town we all pay taxes to and contribut towards. The beach is not the public library.
