98070 Serve your primary customers first - daily car commuters who pay the bulk of the system operation and maintenance costs. What does this look like? Make it easy for pre-ticketed daily commuters by requiring everyone who arrives at the Fauntleroy dock to have a ticket for their vehicle and passengers. Tickets can be sold from an unattended machine. Seattle parking tickets are sold this way all over town. Everyone has figured that out. Make this a requirement to get onto the dock. Post signs on all common approaches to the Fauntleroy dock directing ferry commuters to stop at the ticket machines if they don't have a ticket. I guarantee you that people will only wait in line one time after making the mistake of not buying a ticket in advance, and none of your primary customers will make this mistake even once. This will allow removal of the ticket booths on the dock, creating additional parking space on the dock, but more importantly allowing the dock employees to focus on taking tickets and directing traffic (and not stopping the flow of cars to purchase tickets). Inform Wa State legislature that signers of this petition value movement of vehicles over on-time performance when the consequence of on-time performance is partially filled boats.

WEF Please move to the 21st century and upgrade your management so that they can have a system that is neither archaic nor ineffiecient. Your decisions are so completely ineffective shame on you

98070 Build one or two ticket booths at the north end of Lincoln Park (use park grounds). Then cars south of these booths will all have tickets and will only need to be scanned before loading. The two ticket booths on the dock can then be removed allowing a full ferry line of ticked vehicles to be in line on the dock and along Fauntleroy Way -- no bottle neck for vehicles without tickets. Also provide ticket vending machines on all ferry boats. If a vehicle has the wrong tickets when being scanned, send them back to the ticket booth for a correction. We need a long term solution!

Fix it! 2 lines in opposite directions. One for Vashon the other for Southworth. Get electric sign boards to move traffic based on route. Example: Green X under route name - "Vashon" bypass wait line etc. to fill the boat. So many options!!! Have a contest for ideas from riders, but you've got to follow through WSF.

I live on Vashon (98070). Two and three hour waits are unacceptable when ferries are leaving only half full. Please prioritize filling boats and moving cars. Let us use electronic ticking for regular commuters to improve moving cars.

Bad system. Inefficient and not reasonable for the daily commuters.
