For many many years WSF was able to fill the ferries. There's just no excuse for the poor service now. The old system was a good one and so are some of the ideas from the Vashon advisory

Loading boats half full when cars are parked up to Lincoln Park is not good for anyone.

98070 - I depend on the ferries to commute to/from work and appointments. The current loading system on the Triangle route is not working, and any changes to the ferry schedule should be delayed until an oversight committee can recommend and test a more efficient system.

I commuted off Vashon for years. I was in lines, but the boats never left empty like they seem to now. I don't know how WSF and/or the state can justify raising rates until they get this fixed,

I have lived on Vashon for nearly 30 years and have never seen worse ferry service. WSF must serve their customers who depend on the ferries to get to work, school, medical appointments and see family and friends. The current system of loading the ferries is not working. 98070

98070 ( Vashon resident since 1996)ferry service has steadily declined since then. We are not tourists, we live here and we can't drive around. We depend on timely boats. Express access for preticketed cars works! Please listen to us and our representatives.

Please do NOT make any cuts or changes to WSF routes until hearing from.the committee task force who are familiar with the ongoing issues and solutions that haven't already been explored. I am a full time Vashon resident that spends $2500 per year on WSF'S as a daily commute to work in an Seattle emergency department and need reliable and efficient transportation. The current system is not able to manage the volume.
