Worst ferry loading I have seen in 50 years of Island life. WSF needs to find a way to sort cars to their destination off the Main Street and get those boats loaded to capacity!

Lived on Vashon for nearly 30 years. Still have family there. It is imperative than this community be served efficiently and responsibly by Washington State Ferries- the only link to the mainland.

WSF needs to put regular ferry customers first, instead of dead last after every other consideration. We need a traffic light at the end of the dock and a dedicated lane for pre-ticketed cars. Use ferry staff to sort the line instead of standing around on the dock. 98070

It IS possible to fill the boats and still stay on schedule. What's the point of arriving on time if nobody is on the boat??

Focus on filling the boats and assess how long it takes. This will indicate how boats should be scheduled for greatest efficiency of each boat. A return to 10 ride ticket books would also be helpful.

The ferry system's operation between Fauntleroy/Vashon/Southworth has gotten increasingly dismal over the past 20+ years that we have lived on Vashon. Some 'common sense' solutions need to be found; maybe the WSF needs to actually LISTEN to what their riders are saying, and make a priority of FILLING the damn boats!
