It is so frustrating to see a Ferry leave cars behind on the dock when they are not full. It seems like a waste of resources. Also If ferry pass holders (frequent users) can get on the ferry with priority, it would alleviate toll booth lines, and cut down on load timess. Many people are counting on the Ferries to get to work in the region.

I live on Vashon and commute to work. Thousands of us do. The ferry system is a vital part of our state transportation infrastructure, as necessary as I-5 or the Narrows bridges. the state of Washington needs to commit to creative thinking and capital expenditures to make this important transportation link fully functional and efficient.

As a visitor to the Pacific Northwest viable access to the beautiful areas off the coast of Washington State is critical. I would like to spend my money on travel in this State but will not if it's a struggle to get around.

This is not working. I have missed more ferries now showing up on time with a ferry pass but getting stuck behind a line of people buying tickets and the ferry leaving without us .

There is no excuse to leave people waiting at the dock other than the boat is full. If the boats can't be filled because of the procedures in place for collecting payment, then that needs to be changed. In the age of technology, it is possible to use a square and walk up the line getting payments via an IPad. Or getting people to go around the cars parked and waiting for the Southworth ferry. Maybe it is time to end southworth only sailings. Like I said, I have been commuting for 25 years and only this last 6 months have been the worst!

Enlarge the dock to get more of each of the 2 destinations staged. Lengthening the dock at least would give more space for cars and cut down the backup on Fauntleroy!
