Having 3 children and also working in schools and nurseries, I know just what a life enhancing service Active Stirling provides for our children. They are at the forefront of Stirlingshire's drive to encourage a health and fitness dominated lifestyle for our children. The sports practitioners are doing a fantastic job...this service needs to stay!!!

Affordable for families and accessible to the whole community. Severe danger of price rises if operated privately.

Active Stirling have transformed the delivery of sports lessons and facilities in the Stirling area. Prior to the creation of the peak our children had to attend swimming lessons in another neighbouring authority.

This contract should stay with the council who's goal is to give the community a fantastic sports village for every age ..and also creating jobs for the local community..private firms are only interested in profits and not in the economy, the employee or the local community

I think Active Stirling should be kept, all 3 of my children have been helped to be kept active by all the members and helpers that work with and alongside them.
They have got involved with various sports that weren't open to kids of my era, such as gymnastics skiing, snowboarding, all have shown an interest in running.
My wee girl loves cross country my youngest son loves rugby and swimming all brought on by Active Stirling.
Hoping that Active Stirling remains Active for many years to come.

Promoting health and well being to all locals is vital. Active Stirling work closely to deliver activities and sports to rural schools with limited facilities. Where is the evidence of public consultation surrounding this proposed change in delivery of provision??

Active Stirling have been at the heart of the physical wellbeing of the people of Stirling for many years. Why would you want to ruin such goodwill that has developed over many years with community groups?

The current provider does a great job and has built fantastic links with all the clubs. They have been a great help and support to us over the years.

No community consultation and little transparency to award a long -term contract to a private company. It's like bad decision bingo.

Investment in sport as key to a healthy scotland and reduces dependency on unnecessary NHS costs. Quality of life and good use of public spending means keep active stirling.

No consultation with locals, short term profit and a 25 year contract ??? This definitely should not go ahead!

Do not privatise this amazing facility. This is meant for the while community that can at present the afford to access it.
