MERITLESS CLAIMS SHOULD NEVER BE ON ANYONE'S RECORD

As a broker of twenty four years who has consistently provided investment advice to clients, I support a balanced expungement process. I have no complaints on my record. Please allow me to do what I do best.

The process must be fair.

Please continue to allow for expungement of false allegations.

In this highly over regulated guilty until you are proven innocent environment the pendulum has swung too far in favor of the clients and regulators.

I hope you haven't spent $50,000 on expungement efforts. But I completely agree with the imbalance of the way things are and the damage that completely fabricated complaints cause to brokers.

Removal of any customer dispute disclosure requires an expungement award be granted by FINRA arbitration. Once granted, the award has to be recognized by a civil court. Lastly, the court order must be processed by FINRA.

How to remove settled mediations where no guilt is found?!

I received an unfavorable letter in 2009 after the market had dropped! Per her request, I had sent a reallocation authorization form to her to move to primarily bonds in mid 2008 but she never approved it. Then in 2009, she was unhappy that she lost money! She could have easily signed the reallocation and not lost as much money! But she didn’t elect that! She didn’t want to take responsibility for her lack of action !

Merit-less complaint registered against a perfect record over 30 years has been dogging me for 9 years. Make it easy to remove these merit-less complaints.

I am in favor of a balanced system. The 1 year or less purposed rule for expungement is just wrong. If a claim is false and you can prove it, you should be able to remove it. FINRA please also value and review these changes for the prospective of the advisor.

It is extremely bias to not allow an advisor to attemt remove a merit less claim. Our CRD is similar to a job application and if a issue that was not arbitraded fairly it can and will interfere with the pesrons ability to make a living.

We need a fair and balanced system to remove MERITLESS claims. It is unfair that anyone Can make any claim they want to and it goes on my record and I have no way to remove it. That's unfair!

As advisors we should have the same rights as our clients.

I need my complaint expunged.

Our claim occurred in 2003 and FINRA claims they have removed it because it is over ten years ago. It still appears on the SEC site. How do we remove that?

this is a system built by Lawyers to fund lawyers. The damage you are doing is unexplainable. Guily until you have spent $50,000 to remove a bogus complaint is not the way justice is intended to work

I don't believe that this law is fair to advisors that were wrongly accused. I had one complaint during the "tech wreck". The client failed to heed my advice and her claim was denied.
