The Art shop was a huge resource and invaluable when I attended Stoke Uni. To see it close would damage the success of the creative courses and community of the campus.

This cannot be allowed to close, it provides many a student with essential supplies for their courses, some of whom suffer with anxieties and rely on this as a little community art shop. Please don’t allow it to close.

Jo and Jim are much valued by all past and present art students. As students knowledge is always needed and appreciated, after all that’s what we go to university for ...to learn and they have always provided that to us in addition to being friendly faces who make you feel at ease. I hate to see art courses being disregarded and made out to be invaluable. I’m my opinion these art courses are what makes staffs staffs and we should not loose them are art shop or art staff!

A necessary shop for the university, I completed a drama degree at Staffs but needed the Art Shop and it's staff several times.

Talking to well informed staff who can help you to make the right purchases is so important. As is seeing a friendly face when you're stressed out with deadlines! The art shop and its staff is such a valuable asset to the University. It seems it's the go to target every time there's a cost-cutting exercise.

The art shop and its high praises are one of the reasons I chose to do an arts course at staffordshire university. I would not have come if there were no art shop, and the assistance Jo and Jim have given me during my time here has been absolutely invaluable, I just wouldnt have been able to achieve as much as I have without them.

The shop is not just a shop it is a vital resource where you learn about what you are buying knowledge is key and built over time It is not just a shop! It is also a vital resource to the wider artistic community around the university

I use this shop regularly for supplies for art workshops in the community. (I work for NHS) good value. Good choice of products. Excellent knowledge from staff. What a loss it would be for students and the community if it closes.

A true community facility, entirely customer / learner / tutor / artist centred. One of the "soft" services that makes the University a good place to be.
