Absaloutly discusting ! Why should we pay so much for a bench too be placed? too have too cope with all the upkeep off said bench yet we are unable too leave trinkets or flowers or even cards, if leaving flowers ect is a safety hazzard maybe you should take away the benches too ! Health and safety ... pahhh !! what about splinters ? What about forgotten benches that are rotting ?? . Absaloutly diabolicle !!!

It would be common sense if the council were to remove the piles of broken glass, dog mess, metal cans and plastic bags from our beach and recreational areas before concerning themselves about memorial flowers, if they want to show how concerned they are over health and safety...

I have a friend and aunts memorial bench along the seafront that flowers are put on. It's a sign of respect and a place for people to go and remember them. Must be heartless to think of stopping that.

Absolutely disgusted that the council can take this little sign of grief and compassion from a family

its hard to comprehend what danger flowers hold. Surely if you are allergic you just sit somewhere else?

Most stupid idea ever, how many meetings and lunches has this cost the taxpayer for these people to come up with this totally rubbish decision ,it's disgusting ,do the benches even belong to the council ,what possible effect do flowers have on health and safety ,it's just unbelievable.
