How many meetings ,lunch meetings at the cost of tax payers ,has this taken ,to come to this stupid decision .It is unbelievable .Where and a what is the risk ,that involves health and safety .

Go weekly to put flowers on my nans bench who is greatly missed she loved flowers so is a great idea to put flowers there makes the whole sea front look lovely and is rediculous how this would be a health and safety risk!! Very sad.

Disgusted by this, my family and I take great comfort in laying flowers on the memorial bench we have for our family member who was loved and know by many people in deal.

Disgusting. Next DDC will stop flowers being put on graves...! I can't see any difference to flowers on a grave vs flowers on a memorial bench. Stop being silly.

Ridiculous and stupid. When are u council gunna stop next we wont be able to place flowers anywhere or grieve next ur be putting sitting meters on 1 hr /£5 your all a joke

I am the proud owner of a family memorial bench on Deal Seafront. It means the world to us to place flowers for those we have lost.

if seats are donated as a memorial to a loved one then flowers are part of this. Everyone benefits and can have a sit down. old young all enjoy
