With all the issues in the world is it really such a big deal that people want to pay their respects by leaving a few tokens or a bunch of flowers ?

Go weekly to put flowers on my nans bench who is greatly missed she loved flowers so is a great idea to put flowers there makes the whole sea front look lovely and is rediculous how this would be a health and safety risk!! Very sad.

Disgusted by this, my family and I take great comfort in laying flowers on the memorial bench we have for our family member who was loved and know by many people in deal.

Disgusting. Next DDC will stop flowers being put on graves...! I can't see any difference to flowers on a grave vs flowers on a memorial bench. Stop being silly.

I am the proud owner of a family memorial bench on Deal Seafront. It means the world to us to place flowers for those we have lost.
