We the undersigned absolutely oppose the closure of St Martins Road by South West Water in 2012 in relation to the Barratt Homes build. We consider it dangerous and potentially life threatening - due to removal of access for emergency services - unsuitable and lengthy traffic diversion provisions - and completely inconsiderate of the requirements of the thousands of people that use the road every day, and who will have to make a 12 mile detour. We also believe that it will have a very significant detrimental impact to businesses in the area.
