Fight for Your Right to Buy Minimally Processed Pet Food

My rescue cattle dog suffered from yeast. I've been feeding him a raw diet since Feb. 2018. He no longer suffers from that ailment. He had the yeast because he was fed a crappy diet of starch laden kibbles. He's much healthier and happier. The government is siding with the large pet food manufactures because they are losing money, because the public is getting wise to they garbage they put into their food and not buying their products. As with humans you are what you eat.

I want the freedom to choose whatever food best suits my dog's needs. The FDA is, once again, in dictatorial overreach into our lives.

I want the right to feed my dog Any thing I choose! I have been feeding Answers for 4 years and never had a problem. I intend to continue !

I have a right to feed my dog what I please! Raw food company's have brought us better food for our pets! Human grade food is what we want!

The freedom to feed my pets what I want them to have is my choice. I handle raw meats every day to feed the humans in my home, and I use good hand-washing techniques. I have been feeding my Irish Wolfhound a raw diet for about a year with no issues. The FDA needs to stop their overreach and get out of the pocket of the dog food industry.

My dog is almost 11 years old and has been eating raw since she was a puppy. We have never had any bacterial problems.

I want to make my own decisions when it comes to my dog family.

The FDA is overstating the dangers inherent in raw feeding and trying to force people to feed their pets an inferior, not species appropriate diet (kibble).

My sister has a chesapeake female about 7 yrs old. From the time she was brought home at 3 months of age she has been fed the raw food diet. After 1 year the vet checked her over and said I can tell you are not feeding her kibble. Her teeth and gums were healthy a d her ciat was shiney. Also she was not hyper or lethargic. Even now she has the best health. I have no use for an agency who takes away your right to choose and insists on you feeding over processed sterile toxic food that gives most animals Tumors and cysts. Mostly cancerous. Commercial interests come first here. Not health interests.

The government has no right to limit how I choose to feed my pets. Studies show that feeding a balanced raw diet to dogs is a healthy and a sound practice to follow. I have been doing so for over a year without any illness or health issues with my dogs or humans eating in my home.

It's disgusting that the government want us to feed our animals only on kibble and canned foods which are unhealthy and can cause a lot of problems which come with a lot of vet bills which also means the government's taxes are going to be plentyful. If our animals were fed on a healthy diet the government would loose too much money!

When any government agency interferes with the rights of the governed in areas it has no business meddling as in freedom of choice with respect to food, health, whether for children or pets, then you can rest assured that corporate interests are being served. I want to have the choice to feed MY dog a species appropriate diet and not to have the government, vets, or dog food companies to tell me I can't and need to feed "death in a bag". My dog, my decision! Thank you Answers for doing this for our precious pets that can't have a say in this matter.

Our dogs have the right to eat what is best for them. Shame on the government for trying to prevent them from being healthy!

I have been feeding raw for about 2 yrs. Now. My 3 cats and 1 dog are healthier and happier. I am a clean freak so I have not had any problems! Raw has been very good for us.

Seriously, we need to feed our pets like we'd eat ouselves
