Fight for Your Right to Buy Minimally Processed Pet Food

We should have the right to choose what to feed our pets just as much as what to feed our family.

I’ve been buying answers raw pet for for 5 years! My 14 year old Jack Russell acts like a puppy from this brand. The fda can go to hell. They’re not looking out for our pets

I have been feeding raw for 6 years and have NEVER had a problem!

It is important to me that I have a safe food to feed to my dog. I would never feed him kibble it is like eating McDonalds everyday and wondering why you're sick. Dogs are meant to eat a raw diet made from healthy meats humanely raised.

If this is not nipped in the bud the next thing will be regulating what kind of food you and your family eat. This is absolutely ridiculous. I have been feeding a combination raw, freeze dried raw, kibble diet for years! I have had dogs with major health issues. The only way to meet their needs was through this method. I feed more high end, high protein kibble/freeze dried raw when traveling. Government overreach has become a major problem. If the government wants to be involved by getting barbiturates, melamine and other plastics, and other potentially harmful additives out of food (both for our pets and for our fellow humans) great! Trying to regulate raw food in a manner which has stricter guidelines than food for human consumption and other forms of pet food is not the answer. Perhaps this should be transferred to and or include the USDA. They are still government, but, have been regulating food from a different point of view for an extended period of time. The reasons for concern take away all responsibility from the consumer. This would be like allowing a child to play in a toilet wWhich hadn't been flushed and then blaming the manufacturer of the toilet when the child became ill! People need to quit using their glass belly buttons and start using the brains they were given.

This is about power and money... We all know the healthiest diet IS the one dogs were born to eat..

This is definitely an injustice. The government needs to follow the law, not make their own rules.

I choose to offer the healthiest options to my pets who are family. Feeding raw since 1995.

Please do what’s right for the safety and health of our beloved animals.

There is complete hipocrasy in a policy that tries to have a zero tolerance for raw pet food but not for kibble and all its terrifying unhealthy ingredients and not even for chicken processed for humans and found in baby food!

We have the right to feed our dogs what we see fit. The FDA and other agencies use scare tactics to control much of what we (and our animals) consume. It is important to limit their reach

Raw feeding is biologically appropriate, common sense food for dogs. And, anyone who can safely prepare raw meat for their human family can safely prepare raw for their dog family.

I want the right my dog a raw, wholesome diet.

Been feeding my dogs raw food for a decade...never had a problem. And no one can believe my dogs are 15 years old, they usually guess 5 or 6 years old.

Just another example of our non-protective government being bought by big pharma, big medical, big agriculture, big manufacturer, big oil, big mining, big transportation, big energy, big communist ideals, etc, all at the expense of the Earth and all its living creatures, including humans.

Have been feeding my dogs home prepared raw diet for 20 years and have never had a problem with human or animal illness due to it. Including grandchildren.

I want the right to feed my dog what I think is best for him.
